We want our kids and pets to get along. Best friends for life, you know? When I was pregnant with my daughter I already had a four year old dog whom I adored with all my life. Friends kept telling me I might have to get rid of the dog once my kiddo was born because the two might not get along. But I’m an adoption for life kind of gal, so I balked and ignored and did everything in my power to make sure that when the baby was born my dog would be ready. What I couldn’t have prepared for what just how much my dog adored my daughter. She was his world. This dog and this baby look to be about the same. Even with the dog outside, he’s doing everything he can to keep the baby happy. Take a look!
I’ve never seen dogs actively play peek-a-boo on their own before, but that seems to be exactly what’s going on here, and it’s hilarious. The baby loves it, and that dog seems to love the baby. It’s a cycle of love. And I, well, love it. I hope they go on to live a long and happy bestie life together.
