Our experience with DIY Bubble Solution

We made small bubbles and medium size bubbles because of the smaller wands size that we had on hand. I would love to try this with big bubbles with a large wand or even giant bubble wand.

I was surprised at how easy this soap bubble solution was to make in just a minute or two which makes it the best recipe for bubbles on short notice.

The kids love bouncing the bubbles with gloved hands and are surprised at how bubble pops are rare when bouncing. While these aren’t unbreakable bubbles, they are definitely sturdy bubbles!

Why Do These Bubbles Bounce and Not Break?

The sugar helps slow down water evaporation in the bubbles in this simple bubble recipe which lets the bubbles last longer.

The oils on our hands can break the surface tension of the bubbles, causing them to pop. The winter gloves keep the bubbles from coming in contact with our skins’ oils, so they can bounce and do all kinds of fun things!
