Summer vacation is a great time to spend time with the kids. But sometimes going somewhere is too expensive and sometimes being outside is just too hot. But these fun ideas will help you keep cool despite the rising temperatures.

Some are edible, some are activities, and some the whole family can enjoy together! We have so many fun things you can do to beat the heat this summer and even avoid heat-related illness due to the extreme heat.

Fun Ways To Stay Cool This Summer

Pouring activities are great for toddlers and preschoolers.

We have a great list of water play ideas. Number 14 if perfect is you have little kids. This is the perfect practice and way to keep cool. Let them pour water into different sized containers. Trust me, your little one will end up drenched so this is an outside activity! You could use plastic beakers, cups, pitchers, anything would work.
