How To Make Your Own Paper Hot Chocolate Mug
Step 1
Trace out your hot chocolate mug on your colorful construction paper. We used red and green.
Cut out your mug and carefully cut out the paper from the handle.
Step 2
Color and cut out your snowmen.
Craft note:
You can print your snowman at 50% in the advanced printing settings which enables you to print a smaller snowman. Don’t worry, we’ll use the excess white paper.
Step 3
Trace an oval on the brown construction paper. This is your cocoa. You can always trim it up to make it smaller.
Craft Note:
Put your brown construction paper over your cup. You’ll see how wide you need the cocoa to be and you can mark it on the brown paper.
Step 4
Use the glue stick to glue on your hot cocoa and your snowman.
Step 5
Using the white paper, trace rounded rectangles. This will be your marshmallows, cut them out.
You can also trace a candy cane shape, add stripes, and color them in and cut it down to fit your mug.
Step 6
Glue your marshmallows and/or peppermint stick to the cocoa.
Step 7
Since the snowman template had snow on it, we dabbed it and our mug with Elmer’s glue and then added white glitter to look like snow! And now you’re finished!
