Delicious Homemade Chocolate Mousse ingredients
- 8 ounces Milk Chocolate Chips
- 6 Tablespoons Water
- 2 Tablespoons Vanilla
- 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar

Directions to Make Delicious Homemade Chocolate Mousse
Step 1
Melt the milk chocolate and water in a saucepan (I use a double boiler).
Step 2
Whisk in the Vanilla and let it cool to room temperature.
Step 3
Whip the cream until it makes soft peaks and then add the powdered sugar.
Step 4
After the chocolate has cooled fold it into the whip cream mixture until it is well combined.

Step 5
Garnish with more whip cream and chocolate drizzle. You could even be like my kids and have chocolate chips on top too!
NOTE: Be sure to wait until the chocolate has cooled completely before you add it to the whipped cream, otherwise, you will have a runny mess!
Be patient, it takes a little time to cool down!

- Whip the cream until it form stiff peaks, then add the powdered sugar.
- Fold in the chocolate syrup once it's cooled down. Fold until well incorporated.
- Top with more whipped cream and drizzle some chocolate or caramel syrup.
