Easy Christmas Crafts For Kids Of All Ages
Here’s a fun project that is perfect for little kids and older kids alike: a Christmas wreath! It’s one of the best ideas for the holiday season since you only need a few supplies that are super easy to get. It’s a great way for older children to practice their fine motor skills, and it only takes a little time. This is also the perfect Christmas craft for younger children with little hands, as it requires very little help.
Add this fun Christmas craft to your to-do list for the family to do while waiting for the big day, or any day you want to bring the holiday cheer to your home. We are sure that this will become one of your favorite Christmas crafts for winter break!
Once this little project is done, you can hang them from your door frame, use them as cute ornaments, or give them as DIY Christmas gifts. Let’s get started.

Supplies Needed To Make a Simple Christmas Craft
- Double-sided origami paper OR construction paper (we recommend any bright color)
- paper plate
- scissors
- stapler
- optional: pom poms, small candy canes, and other decorations.
Instructions To Make Simple Christmas Crafts
Step 1
Cut the paper into strips that are a half inch wide and about four to six inches long – this depends on what kind of paper you use.

Step 2
Cut the hole out of the middle of the paper plate.

Step 3
Grab two paper strips and hold the ends together. Use one staple for every two strips to attach them to the plate.

Step 4

What I’d do differently:
This is already one of my favorite Christmas craft ideas, as it’s very easy to do and looks so pretty, but next time I’ll probably use red paper to make it look even more festive.
