What I’d do differently For My DIY Christmas Wreath:
This is already one of my favorite Christmas craft ideas, as it’s very easy to do and looks so pretty, but next time I’ll probably use red paper to make it look even more festive. Or I might add pom poms to look like holly berries and add some mistletoe leaves or little plastic ornaments to the front of the wreath or add a big bow to the center of the paper plate or where the center should be. You know what, I bet you could use festive wrapping paper as as easy way to bring more color to your paper loops. The options are endless! It’s your wreath craft, make this paper plate Christmas wreath look anyway you want.
Our Experience With This Christmas Wreath Craft
My family had a blast making this holiday décor using a paper plate ring and paper strips. We had a Christmas wreath for almost every door! And the best part was children of all ages can participate which is great considering I have younger kids and older kids. But all of them had a blast making these festive Christmas decoration with green strips. And you know what, these make great homemade holiday gifts as my kids gave a paper Christmas wreath to their grandmother who was more than happy to put it on her front door (on the inside).
I can’t help but think that this beautiful Christmas wreath would be such a cute idea to make to decorate a classroom either. Add a red bow and it’s the perfect holiday decor. Or maybe some faux red berries. I just feel like this beautiful wreath needs something. But I already mentioned that above in the “What I would do differently diy Christmas wreath ideas” section. Either way, I hope you enjoyed making this festive wreath as much as we did. It was such a fun holiday craft.
Merry Christmas!
