Barbie’s birthday is March 9. These Pink Pancakes are perfect for boys or girls and perfect for Barbie’s birthday! These pink pancakes are sweet, delicious, and so much fun! Everyone loves fluffy buttermilk pancakes, but add strawberry and icing and they are even better.

Supplies Needed To Make These Fun Barbie Pink Pancakes
- 1 quart of strawberries
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup of oil
- 1 egg
- 2 cups of pancake mix
- 1/4 cup sugar or strawberry syrup
How to Make Pink Pancakes
Step 1
Wash the strawberries and cut the tops off.
Step 2
Place the buttermilk in a blender and add the strawberries. Blend until completely smooth.
Step 3
Measure out 2 cups of the strawberry/buttermilk mixture and it to the oil, egg and pancake mix.

Note:
If the mixture isn’t as pink as you would like, then add strawberry syrup to it instead of sugar to sweeten.
Step 4
If the batter is the proper thickness, then pour on a greased griddle at 350 degrees flipping when golden pink.
Note:
If the batter is too thin, add a little more pancake mix. If the batter is too thick, then add some of the reserved strawberry/buttermilk mixture or additional strawberry syrup.
Step 5
Stack and top with more strawberries or a simple glaze of milk & powdered sugar. Add pink sprinkles if desired.
Step 6
Invite Barbie and friends for a breakfast treat!

March 9 is Barbie’s birthday! Barbie is an icon of childhood play.
As a girl, I remember the world we created around our Barbie dolls. Today is no different. Girls around the world dream through play with Barbie. And that’s why I love these pink pancakes so much! The world was taken by storm by the Barbie movie and we love that these pink pancakes can let everyone have a little Barbie fun at breakfast.

How To Make Pink Pancakes

Pink pancakes are fluffy, pink, filled with strawberry syrup and sprinkles as well as icing! It's so good!
Ingredients

I remember when I was a child my favorite Barbie was swimsuit Barbie!
I love Barbies and I always wanted one as a child but my family couldn’t afford to buy us many store toys. Most of ours were handmade. I received my 1st Barbie from my husband. He knew I never had one as a child so he bought me one. I still have her in her original package.
