  • 1 Cup Pancake Mix
  • 2/3 Cup Water
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 Cups Fresh Strawberries quartered
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Whip Cream

Instructions to make skillet Pancake with Strawberry Syrup

Step 1

Mix together the pancake mix, water, and egg in a medium-sized bowl until it’s just combined – don’t overmix

Step 2

Grab a cast iron skillet and warmed it up in the oven by placing the tab of butter in the skillet to melt, make sure to spread it around in the skillet before sprinkling the 1 teaspoon of sugar and cinnamon in the bottom of the skillet

Step 3

Pour the pancake batter into the skillet and bake for 15 – 20 minutes

Step 4

While the pancake is baking, place your strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice on medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes

Step 5

Use a wooden spoon to mash the strawberries to release the juice
