We are interviewing Rockabye Butterfly today to find out about the mom behind the blog. Why did you begin blogging? I began blogging to record my daughter’s homeschooling work. It’s nice to have a record of all the things she has accomplished during her homeschool days with me. What do you hope to inspire in the parents who read your blog? I hope to inspire in my readers that spending time with your children is fun, watching them learn is precious and setting up stimulating activities is doable. What is it like to live in your home? I have one kindergarten child. I call her Butterfly on my blog, she is 5 years old.

What are your kids favorite activities? We love anything artistic! My daughter and I are so much the same, we love to be creative and we love to do anything artsy! Paint is our best friend 🙂 What is important to YOU as a blogger? For this interview, we were looking around her blog and found the “Rockabye Butterfly’s Meaning” and wanted to share it. This is precious.

Rockabye Butterfly’s Meaning:

A Mommy cradles, coddles, cuddles her baby, nuturing her through her childhood path, Singing Rockabye lullabies and sharing tickling laughs! A child loves to fly freely, flittering from flower to flower, in whimsical colourful play, But she is also learning to fly, testing her wings, and reaching new heights everyday! What is your advice to readers? My advice is that children are capable of more than we give them credit. They are very creative. Give them the tools and a stimulating environment and watch all that comes from them. I am always amazed at what my daughter comes up with!
