How to make a popsicle stick flower
This bright and colorful spring craft couldn’t be easier to make. Download and color our flower coloring page and then add a craft stick stem and leaves to each of the flowers. Kids of all ages can use whichever medium they love the most, whether they use watercolor or acrylic paints, crayons, markers, or pencils to color their flowers.

Supplies needed to make popsicle stick flowers

- White card stock
- Colorful popsicle sticks (or craft sticks)
- Pencils, markers, crayons, or paint
- Construction paper – green
- Glue
- Scissors
We print the coloring page onto card stock because the flowers will be easier to color (or paint) without the paper tearing, and they won’t be as flimsy when attached to the craft sticks.
Instructions for making popsicle stick flowers
Step 1
If you haven’t done this already, download and print our free flower coloring page onto white card stock:
Using your scissors, cut out each of the flowers.
Step 2
Color in your coloring page flowers. We used markers, but you can use paint, crayons, or coloring pencils. Use as many bright colors as you can find though.
Step 3
Using glue, attach the colorful craft sticks to the back of each of your flowers.
Step 4
Cut out leaves from the green construction paper and attach two to each craft stick using glue.
Craft tip: If you fold the paper in half you can cut out two leaves at once giving you a matching set for each flower.
