Best Blog
Kids Creative Chaos is a blog with classroom curriculum, homeschool projects, preschool activities, printables and fun edible art ideas. Not only do the post what works but also the mishaps, the fails, and the messes.
Kids Creative Chaos
We are interviewing Lora today to find out about the mom behind
Kids Creative Chaos.
Why did you begin blogging?
Lora Langston started blogging in the fall of 2008 hoping no one would ever see her posts. Stuck in the era of homepages, she used the blog as a baby book of sorts. She practiced crafts with her kids to use in her new venture for preschoolers, The Play Connection, Inc. which opened in March of 2009.
What do you hope to inspire in the parents who read your blog?
Your kids can do it! We like to offer activities and feature ideas that build self-esteem, confidence, and a can-do attitude! We also share humorous posts about our failures crafting or as parents.
What is it like to live in your home?
I have two homeschooled children- a 6 year old girl and an 8 year old boy.
What are your kids favorite activities?
Crafting! We love to make something from nothing.
What is important to YOU as a blogger?
I have a real world creative play business teaching preschoolers messy crafts and drama to elementary age students. We also fundraise for Santa’s Elves of Indy collecting toys for needy children. Our blog’s claim to fame is Pin it! Online Scavenger Hunt on Pinterest.
What is your advice to readers?
Ease up; don’t stress perfection make life long learning fun for everyone.
