We are interviewing Heather today to find out about the mom behind It’s A Long Story. Why did you begin blogging? I wanted somewhere to have a voice, share ideas, and interact with a wider audience of people. What do you hope to inspire in the parents who read your blog? I hope to inspire parents to see that play doesn’t need to be complicated! What is it like to live in your home? In our home we have Abbey who is 3 1/2 and she is at that amazing age where she just wants to learn everything! She loves to explore, is sassy, hilarious, and keeps me on my toes every day!

What are your kids favorite activities? We’re big readers around here. Arts and Crafts are big, too, especially coloring and drawing! Abbey is just starting to learn that she can express ideas on paper, which is so fun to watch! What is important to YOU as a blogger? My faith and family are the most important things in my life. What is your advice to readers? My advice is that there will always be time for laundry, there won’t always be time for stories and snuggles. (I’m still working on this one!)
