Does Costco Have a Limit on Free Food Samples?

One of the biggest perks about having a Costco membership is their free food samples.

You head there with a shopping list in mind and bam, down nearly every aisle there is a person handing out free food samples. One could truly just eat lunch there during certain hours.

And if you’re anything like me, you’ll try something and decide you just need to have a second bite just to be sure you really like it.

But I often feel guilty because it should only be one free sample per person, right? Well, turns out, that may not be the case.

Does Costco Have a Limit on Free Food Samples?

According to Costco employees and numerous customers, Costco samples are unlimited and do not have a limit on them.

Now obviously, you don’t want to go and take all the samples but if you want to grab a few of each one, there is no problem as far as Costco goes.

When is Prime Sample time at Costco?

According to Costco employees, the best days are to get samples at Costco are Saturdays and Sundays, specifically between 1 and 2 in the afternoon. This is the time when they have tons of samples to try.

If you want to avoid the lines and crowds though, go in the afternoon on a Monday or Tuesday instead.
