Since Christmas is right around the corner (isn’t it creeping up so fast?) I’ve been coming up with lots of new DIY gift ideas. I really love giving homemade gifts around the holidays. It’s a nice way of showing someone a little love without spending much money. Plus, anything homemade is just extra special. Here is one of my favorite recipes ever.
DIY Gift Ideas: Holiday Bath Salts
This recipe is super easy! It just takes a few ingredients and very little time. With just a few dollars and about 10 minutes, you have a super cute homemade gift!
Ingredients
Feel free to double this if you are using a bigger container. This recipe fit perfectly in this glass jar I picked up at Hobby Lobby. (I love that it comes with a little scoop.)
- Glass jar or container
- 1/2 cup epsom salt
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 2 tablespoons of sea salt
- 10 drops of coloring (depending on the shade you want)
- 10 drops of essential oils (again, depending on how strong you want the smell)
To make it, mix the soda and salts together. Then add the coloring and lastly the oils.
That’s it! The oil I used for this was Stress Away. It is one of my absolute favorite essential oils smells ever. It might sound silly, but it just makes me happy. I feel like it’s a total mood booster for me.
When you’re all done, tie a ribbon around it or add a gift tag. It’s seriously that simple and I think anyone that gets this as a gift will adore it!
New to Essential Oils?
Ha! Me too…awhile ago.
It can be overwhelming with so many oils & choices.
This exclusive package {available for a limited time} gives you everything you need to get started and the information you need to know what to do!
As a Young Living Independent distributor, I started with their AMAZING starter kit & then added a few things I thought you might like…
…like a super huge essential oil information manual. I use mine ALL THE TIME. It is a place you can look up information about each oil individually or find information by looking up the problem you want to solve.
…like an Amazon gift card for $20! You can use it for additional resources or accessories OR just whatever you want!
…like membership in our group’s private FB community. This is a great place to ask questions, get suggestions and find out how other people are using their essential oils. As part of my team, you can also choose other groups like our business building or blogging communities as well.
