This recipe is super easy! It just takes a few simple ingredients and very little time. If you have some extra mason jars, airtight glass container or glass jars, a couple of cups of epsom salt, coarse sea salt, some drops of essential oil, and a little bit of food coloring, then you’re almost ready to make this homemade bath salts recipe. - 2 tablespoons of sea salt
- 10 drops of food coloring (depending on the shade you want)

Here is a simple bath salt recipe to make your own bath salts – festive style! Perfect gift for the holidays.
Materials
- Glass jar or container
- 1/2 cup Epsom salt
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 2 tablespoons of sea salt
- 10 drops of coloring (depending on the shade you want)
- 10 drops of essential oils (again, depending on how strong you want the smell)
Instructions
- Mix the soda and salts together.
- Then add the food coloring.
- Lastly, add the oils.
- Mix thoroughly.
Notes
For essential oils, we suggest: Stress away, lavender oil, or peppermint oil.
