Peanut Blossom loves to feed her family, explore new places and take pictures of all of it! We love that she considers her camera as her third baby!

Peanut Blossom

We are interviewing Tiffany today to find out about the mom behind Peanut Blossom. Why did you begin blogging? In 2009  I began blogging for my personal use. It wasn’t until 2011 I moved into taking it more seriously. What do you hope to inspire in the parents who read your blog? I’d love for moms who visit my site to come away feeling inspired to learn something new for themselves. I discovered a personal passion for photography because I wanted to take better pictures of my babies. My hope is that moms will find opportunities to delve deeper into a hobby or interest that may have called to them initially just because of the children. I have learned that creative pursuits are waiting just under the surface of necessity.

Peanut Blossom

What is it like to live in your home? I have 2 little girls that have absolutely been my creative muses. My Peanut, age 5, was the initial inspiration for the title of my site and Little Pea is almost 3. I’ve been blessed to stay home with both of them though the Peanut is now in full-day kindergarten. They are bubbly, goofy, beautiful little girls and there would absolutely be no Peanut Blossom without them. What are your kids favorite activities? We are very simple. Reading picture books, baking together, and visiting our local botanic gardens for photo walks would top the list of our favorites but I’m not sure I could pick a single favorite! All three of those activities are things that I actually love to do even by myself (although maybe sub a novel for the picture book!) and my passion for them has rubbed off on the kids. What is important to you as a blogger and share some advice to our readers!   My advice is that it is ok to still do what you love after you have kids. Share your interests with them, playtime doesn’t need to be mind numbing or boring for you and they’ll love it if you love it.
