If you find yourself dancing in excitement, you won’t be the only one. The unique vending machines are under video surveillance, and they’ve caught more than one patron dancing due to their good fortune.
These roadside vending machines, and pecan pies, are from the family-owned Berdoll Pecan Candy and Gift Co. store. The 24-hour machines don’t just dispense pies either. You can also choose from among a variety of other treats, including chocolate pecans, candy, and beef jerky.
But let’s be honest. It’s that famous pecan pie you really want. The machine sells traditional pies for $20 as well as chocolate pecan pies for $22. The machine takes both credit cards and cash. And yes, it’s totally worth the price tag.
These pecan pie vending machines have been around for more than 12 years now. In other words, the locals are used to — and love — these delicious treats. After all, it has to be restocked every night!

There are currently two locations in Texas. One pecan pie vending machine is located at 2626 State Hwy 71 West in Cedar Creek (where the Berdoll Pecan Candy and Gift Co. store is also located). The other can be found at 3652 Bee Caves Road in Austin, Texas.
