We are interviewing Susan today to find out about the mom behind  Kindergarten & Preschool for Parents & Teachers. Why did you begin blogging? I began blogging to connect with people who are interested in child development, teaching and parenting. What do you hope to inspire in the parents who read your blog? I hope that my blog gives parents and teachers information that will help children have a better life. I hope to encourage others to understand the importance of young children learning from playful activities and that the early years lay the foundation for emotional, social and cognitive growth. What is it like to live in your home? I have a special needs daughter who is 22. She is the joy of my life and I became a special education teacher because of her. I am also blessed with 2 step-children and 6 grandchildren. Kindergarten Preschool for Parents Teachers What are your kids favorite activities? We love to visit our local zoo and enjoy the animals then go to a nearby park for fresh air and exercise. What is important to YOU as a blogger? I am the author of “Kindergarten: Tattle-Tales, Tools, Tactics, Triumphs and Tasty Treats for Teachers and Parents” and co-author of “The Happy Mommy Handbook: The Ultimate How-to Guide on Keeping Your Toddlers and Preschoolers Busy, Out of Trouble and Motivated to Learn.What is your advice to readers? Drop everything and play and listen to your child while sharing books, playing games and enjoying the outdoors as you create memories and foster learning which promotes self-esteem, creativity, problem-solving skills and character building.
