Little Moments

We are interviewing Heather today to find out about the mom behind Little Moments. Why did you begin blogging? Writing is a therapeutic outlet for me, we live far from family and many of our friends, and I enjoy sharing and discussing early childhood topics. A blog was the perfect answer to all three! What do you hope to inspire in the parents who read your blog? I hope to inspire parents to keep it simple with kids, they learn from even the smallest moments in our lives. Enjoy the ordinary, because everything is extraordinary to them. What is it like to live in your home? Aidan is a laid back five year old that loves to build and be outside. He’s quiet at first but quick to make friends. He’s a big helper with his little brother and enjoys making him laugh. Devin  is one year old. He’s mobile and curious, inspecting whatever he can get his hands on, and always willing to give out a high five. A happy baby that loves to move! little moments What are your kids favorite activities? Our favorite activities include building forts, whether its out of blankets, pillows, or boxes. Everyone can participate, enjoy, and hide away to play. It’s magical to be able to create your own little world you can fit inside of! We love it! What is important to YOU as a blogger? I do not pretend to know all the answers. With my experience I  share with  others what I know is important for  young children as we prepare them for  a lifetime of learning. What is your advice to readers? My advice is that we all have them and know that the rough patches just need time, just make sure you give them enough time before giving up hope!
