  • Use foam instead of paper
  • Don’t punch a hole and add string/ribbon
  • Add glitter
  • Use stickers
  • Make your book marks different sizes
  • Use a different shaped hole punch
  • Cut out the bookmark using regular scissors

Our Experience With This Valentine’s Day Bookmark Craft

We love reading in this house. All of us enjoy our fantasy books. However, despite buying bookmarks, they somehow disappear or get lost and books get dog eared.

So we made our own. And since it’s close to Valentine’s day we made them heart themed, because why not? This is the craft my little ones and bigger kids could both easily do. And let’s be honest, it’s a fairly cheap craft especially if you have most of the things on hand.

But I hope your family has as much as mine did making this Valentine’s day bookmark craft.
