Our Experience Making Ovaltine Rice Krispie Treats
All through my childhood, my mom would make cookie plates to give away through the holiday season. She would make 3 or 4 different kinds of cookies so all the plates had variety. Each year she would try a new recipe and some years it would become a staple on the cookie plate, and sometimes it would disappear never to be made again.

Waking up early only to have to wait until my mom got ready for opening gifts! ha!
My favorite Holiday memory… tough to pick just one, but I think it was my son’s first Christmas. He was in complete awe on Christmas morning and tore through everyone’s gifts at only 9 months old!
loved opening gifts with the family at home each year.
I love the holidays! When I was a kid all my family gather at my grandma’s house and she would cook a fancy dinner and lots of goodies for her grandchilds. I learn few recipes from her andmy mom that I like to make at christmas.

We loved writing an elabourate letter to Santa and figuring out what we should leave for him for sustenance. It’s a long night for him. Also getting the carrots out for the reindeer. Santa always took the time to consume our offering and the reindeer always left the carrot tops for us to find in the morning.
