A yummy kids drink can be a special treat for little ones. This delicious pineapple drink is Disney inspired and sure to be a hit with your kids this summer…or anytime.
At Kids Activities Blog, we love drinks and eating foods that make our kids smile! Our children love pineapple, and since our road-trip to Disney they can’t get enough of this frothy drink.
Kids Drink
As the weather warms up and families prepare for a fun filled summer vacation with the kiddos, it’s a perfect time to start planning some special treats to beat the heat. What better than a fun and delicious Disney inspired kids drink. I know that in our homes, anything Disney is a sure win and when you add some fun straws, a few rainbow candies and a dollop of ice cream our kids are hopped up on happy.
Disney Inspired
A play on a Magic Kingdom fan favorite, the Disney pineapple whip is sure to make your princes and princesses feel like a day spent in the backyard sprinkler is as wonderful as a day at the Disney parks.
Pineapple Drink
2 cans (20 oz. each) crushed pineapple
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp lime juice
1/3 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups Cool Whip
Pineapple juice (As much or little as you want)
How to Make the Drink
Drain crushed pineapple and reserve 2 Tbsp. of juice. Set aside.
Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar and reserved juice in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Blend just a bit longer than you think you need to ensure it won't be lumpy. Pour into a gallon zipped freezer bag and store flat in freezer until it becomes a slushy consistency-about 1-1/2 hours.
In a large bowl, gently fold pineapple mixture into Cool Whip until blended. Return to freezer until completely frozen-about 1 hour.
Scoop ice cream into a glass and fill the rest of the way with your juice. Fancy it up with sprinkles, fruit, whip cream, or anything else your little hearts desire! Sit back, relax and enjoy summer vacation.
Yummy!

Your little boy is adorable! Oh my, I just love looking at his eyes saying, “Thank you, Mommy” while his mouth is way too busy :). I’m excited to try this and think it will be sweet enough without the sugar.
