This art project can be modified for different ages by simply including more or less instructions. Make this art project more challenging by encouraging them to try and name their shapes and colors, make a star shape, spell their name, or use 2 different patterns. Another way you could enhance this art activity is to encourage them to be creative and arrange the tape to create a pattern, and color patterns inside the white spaces. Supplies Needed for Mess-Free Tape Art

- Sturdy White Paper (Printer paper may rip)
- Crayons, colored pencils, markers, watercolors, or any other coloring materials you like!
- Masking tape
Steps to make Geometric Tape Art for Toddlers preschool and Kindergarten:

- Tape paper: Using masking tape, stick strips to the wall, the floor, or the table so that it isn’t too sticky. Then use the tape to create different shapes and patterns.
- Color: Using your preferred drawing, coloring, or painting tools color in the white spaces. It is ok to color on top of the tape.
- Remove tape: Carefully peel away the tape to reveal the different shapes and patterns.
