PlayDrMom is place where you will learn about parenting and playing through the lens of a mom who is also a therapist who specializes in children. Laura shares not only the fun things they do, play and create but why those things are so important!

We are interviewing Laura today to find out about the mom behind PlayDrMom. Why did you begin blogging? I really liked the idea of being able to share my ideas of integrating being a mom and a play therapist/psychologist. What do you hope to inspire in the parents who read your blog? I hope to help strengthen parents relationships with their children and inspire families have fun by playing together! What is it like to live in your home? Our oldest is Henry who is 6 1/2. He’s crazy smart and comes up with amazing ideas. Our youngest is Honor who is 3 1/2. She’s a crafty and caring princess. PlayDrMom Blog

What are your kids favorite activities? We love playing games together which brings about personal interaction and friendly competition- which we enjoy! What is important to YOU as a blogger? I in NO WAY pretend to have all the answers! My life/kids/family/house is FAR from perfect. I may have some experience and education working with children, but ¦ as a parent ¦ I ™m mostly flying by the seat of my pants like the rest of you!!! What is your advice to readers? My advice to readers is to trust your instincts; you know your children best!
