Essential Oil Recipe: Unwinding Bath Melts
This lavender bath melts / coconut oil bath melts recipe is one of the easiest there is, and it is one of the very best, too. We love that it takes two natural ingredients: coconut oil and lavender essential oil. Lavender is known for its soothing and relaxing effects so it is perfect for this! Coconut oil is hydrating and can help moisturize your dry skin, so this bath melt recipe is two-in-one! It’s relaxing and hydrating – a warm bath with rose petals is one of my favorite ways to relax after a long day. Although lavender is our favorite essential oil, you can customize these homemade bath melts with other pure essential oil blend and body butters. Depending on the carrier oil and essential oil of your choice, you will get different skin care benefits. Our favorite carrier oils are vitamin e oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, mango butter (yummiest smell ever) and shea butter. And when it comes to essential oils, there are so many different ones you can try. These are our favorites for a relaxing bath:- Roman chamomile
- Bergamot
- Goldenrod
- Lemon
- Grapefruit
- Sweet orange
- Lavender
- Peppermint
- Ginger & Lime
- Lemon & Lime
