This holiday decorate a stocking with this free kids printable. This is a fun and festive Christmas activity to do with the whole family. Everyone can design their own stocking. Color, add glitter and stickers and fun decorations. You can decorate the mantle or hand on the fridge. This is an easy activity that kids of all ages can participate in and make something uniquely theirs.
Decorate a Stocking
You can use regular printer paper for this stocking craft. Print out one sheet, cut out all the pieces and start decorating! You can also make a stocking that will actually hold treats by cutting out a second sock shape and gluing the two pieces together along the edge. Make sure not to glue the tops of the socks together or you’ll end up without a pocket to put your treats.
You’ll need glue and scissors to assemble your stocking. Here I used crayons, colored pencils and glitter glue to decorate our stocking. You can also hang your completed stocking using the little paper loop that is included on the printable. I also used a piece of red cardstock to put on the back of my stocking, but you can use just the printable if you’d like. Get creative and have fun!
