Once you finish making your DIY playdough using simple ingredients and your younger children are done playing with it, don’t throw it out, keep it for later!
I like to wrap the playdough in plastic wrap and stick it in an air-tight container or a plastic bag. You don’t want your play doh drying out. Soft playdough is much easier to mold and squish than dry playdough. It will stay soft for a short time if you place it in an airtight container with no wrapping, but it will dry out because of the air fairly quickly.
