DIY Valentine Chocolate Boxes For Candy and Craft Loving Kids

These DIY Valentine Chocolate Boxes are so adorable! My son and I decided to spice up a two-dollar box of simple valentines and make a miniature box of chocolates. The craft paid off tenfold!

Since this is such an inexpensive gift, we made a few to give to my son’s favorite people. Not only is this craft easy on the wallet, it’s pretty simple as well.

This is a gift your kids will love making… and everyone else will love receiving! Be sure to save one for Mom or Dad! I really am pretty sure this would be my favorite Valentine’s Day present. I know I’m not alone on my love for chocolate!

You Only Need a Few Supplies

  • An empty soap box
  • Tissue paper (or wrapping paper, or scrapbook paper…)
  • A box of inexpensive valentines
  • Candy
  • Stickers
  • Tape
  • Scissors

How to Make Valentine Chocolate Boxes

Now that you have gathered your supplies, cut the red tissue paper and wrap the box like a present. Make sure to leave the top flap unwrapped.

Then, tape a valentine card on the top. The card doesn’t have to be anything fancy. You can even print one out and color it yourself!

Now it’s time to fill with your favorite chocolate candies. I recommend chocolate kisses. They’re on theme, individually wrapped, and perfectly sized. There are other great options, though. Mini peanut butter cups sure would be good.

The final step is to seal the box with a heart sticker. Easy!
