Our Experience Making Ovaltine Rice Krispie Treats
All through my childhood, my mom would make cookie plates to give away through the holiday season. She would make 3 or 4 different kinds of cookies so all the plates had variety. Each year she would try a new recipe and some years it would become a staple on the cookie plate, and sometimes it would disappear never to be made again.

A few years ago, my family and I threw out our old traditions of having a Christmas feast with the works, and decided to get pizza and watch holiday movies together. I guess mine is more of a tradition than a memory. But it’s the one time of the year that I will always remember as being the good time that we actually shared together. ๐
