Step 1
Start with a square piece of origami paper, colored side up.
Step 2
Fold the paper in half crosswise, then open it back up.
Step 3
Fold the paper in half from left to right.
Step 4
Then open it again.
Step 5
Flip the paper over to the white side.
Step 6
Fold the paper in half diagonally, then open it.
Step 7
Fold the paper in half diagonally in the other direction.
Step 8
Squash fold the sides inwards to form a triangle shape.
Step 9
Take the top flap in the middle and flatten it.
Step 10
Move that flap to the left, then take the next flap and flatten it too.
Step 11
Flip the paper over.
Step 12
Take the left flap and flatten it in the middle.
Step 13
Take the right flap and flatten it as well.
Step 14
Flip the paper upside down.
Step 15
On the top layer, fold the left top corner down to the middle line.
Step 16
Repeat this on the right side.
Step 17
Flip the paper over.
Step 18
Fold the right top corner down to the middle line.
Step 19
Repeat on the left side.
Step 20
Flip the flap to the right side.
Step 21
Fold the right and left top corners down to the middle line.
Step 22
Repeat the previous step on the last side, folding the right and left top corners down to the middle line.
Step 23
Fold the bottom part up to the center, then unfold.
Step 24
Open the front section and flatten it down to form a diamond shape.
Step 25
Flip the figure over.
Step 26
Open the front section and flatten it down like in Step 23.
Step 27
Move to the next flap.
Step 28
Open the front section and flatten it down.
Step 29
Flip the paper upside down.
Step 30
Take the top layer and pull it down gently.
Step 31
Flip over and repeat on the other side.
Step 32
Fold the right and left sides to the middle line.
Step 33
Flip over.
Step 34
Fold the right and left sides to the middle line.
Step 35
Repeat Step 32 on every side of the origami lily.
Step 36
Gently pull down each origami petal and curve them slightly to give them a natural shape.
