We are interviewing Krissy today to find out about the mom behind B-Inspired Mama. Why did you begin blogging? I left my art teaching job nearly six years ago to relocate for my (now ex-) husband’s job. Blogging became my way of maintaining a sense of self and professionalism while adjusting to my new role of stay-at-home mama. What do you hope to inspire in the parents who read your blog? I hope that B-Inspired Mama is an inspiration for moms to invite creativity into their parenting and into the lives of their children. What is it like to live in your home? I have a silly and sweet six year old son named Sawyer, a crazy-funny and strong-willed four year old daughter named Priscilla, and a smiley and busy 1 year old names J.C.

What are your kids favorite activities? Our family loves any kind of silly storytelling and creative conversation, especially during car rides and dinner time. What is important to YOU as a blogger? Blogging allows me to connect other moms with simple ideas. What is your advice to readers? As a mama (or any kind of caregiver to children), be open to the unexpected, open to change, and open to growing and learning right along with your child.
