  • Mars has the biggest volcano in the Solar System.
  • Mars also has the longest valley, which is 2,500 miles long!, more than 10 times as long as the Grand Canyon.
  • Water ice exists all over the solar system.
  • Humankind has sent spacecraft to all of the planets in our solar system.
  • Mercury is still contracting (shrinking) 4.5 billion years after the solar system was formed.
  • Mountain has icy mountains that are 11,000 feet high.
  • There may be a huge planet at the end of the Solar System, “Planet Nine”.
  • Neptune radiates more heat than it gets from the Sun.
