Things might look and feel a little different this school year, but the truth is that teachers have worked hard to help keep your kids on track with their education. Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up and we wanted to share an easy way to celebrate educators this year.
Parents all over the world have sung the praises of their child’s teachers since distance learning began. I think it’s safe to say that now we all know just how much work being a teacher is! I don’t know about you, but our school at home learning schedule has opened my eyes to all of the work that teachers put in every day. It’s hard with just my kiddos — I can’t imagine a room full of 20!
Since schools are not meeting on campus, it would be difficult to get a physical gift to your child’s teacher. Many brands know this is an issue and have joined in on a simple way for you to thank your teacher.
Digital Gift Cards For Teachers
In the past, when I asked my friends for teacher gift ideas, the suggestion that came up over-and-over again was gift cards. In fact, I love using printable teacher appreciation cards to really make our gift stand out.
But this year, I’ll be shopping online for my child’s teacher — this time for e-gift cards!
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8, 2020 so you can buy now and be prepared. Consider purchasing one of the following gift cards for them to enjoy by shopping online or at their favorite take-out restaurant.
Some companies allow you to purchase digital gift cards online and email them immediately. This is the perfect solution if you are still undergoing shelter in place regulations.
A few options can still be enjoyed even when you’re stuck at home include:
- Sonic
- Amazon
- Chick Fil A
- Best Buy
- iTunes
- Apple Store
- Barnes & Noble
- Sephora
- Ulta
- Michael’s
- Target
- Walmart
- Office Depot
- Staples
- Bass Pro Shops
- Starbucks
If you don’t have the means to spend a lot right now, that’s ok! I know that many teachers are really missing seeing their kiddos each day. You child could write their teacher a letter or email them a video message if a digital gift card isn’t in your budget right now.
We can’t wait to see all the ways that you celebrate your teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week! Make sure to tag #KABlovesteachers on social media so we can see all the fun you’re having and celebrate with you!
