Dairy Queen’s Cotton Candy Dipped Ice Cream Cone
Now, before you run out to your local DQ you should know people are finding these in select locations. For now, the people posting about it seem to be based in Canada. We can only hope it’ll make it’s way to the states soon!
The Cotton Candy dipped cone is a traditional dipped cone with a blue cotton candy coating. And it looks delicious!
But then again, I’m always partial to the dipped ice cream cone. It’s a fun twist on a beloved classic, and I love that Dairy Queen regularly comes out with new and exciting twists making their ice cream cones that much better than most other place.
If you don’t know whether or not your DQ has it, just ask or call ahead before heading down there. I seriously want to try this before it gets too cold to get an ice cream.
Who am I kidding? Ice cream is good anytime!
You have to admit, that is a pretty blue too, right?

What Does The Cotton Candy Dipped Ice Cream Cone Taste Like?
I know, you’re thinking, cotton candy, duh! But, to be fair, how many times have you have cotton candy flavored stuff and it just be sweet.
I mean, I know cotton candy is essentially light and wispy sugar, but it does have a unique flavor that we all know from childhood.
I won’t throw any shade at any particular brands, but there are some cotton candy yogurts and even ice cream that just has a “sweet” flavor, and because it is pink or blue is called cotton candy flavor.
That was my biggest worry with this dipped cone.
But, that was not the with this dipped ice cream cone, rather, it really did taste like cotton candy. The flavoring the used in the hard blue shell was super accurate, and with the addition of the ice cream…was a very tasty treat that did not disappoint.
I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
