Many of us remember this program when we were kids. And it works the same! Parents set reading goals that their child meet and they earn a single topping personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut at participating locations.

The program goes all summer long and kids can earn free pizzas EACH month simply by tracking their reading. Yup, you heard me! Kids can earn up to 5 free pizzas this summer (per family).

What Can My Child Read For This Pizza Hut Book IT Program?

Believe it or not, all sorts of reading material are fair game for this summer reading challenge too. Parents can keep track of what their kids are reading โ€” whether it is magazines, books, or eBooks โ€” through the digital dashboard.

The goal, according to the reading program is to encourage kids to read for an average of 20 minutes a day at least five days a week. Once the kids meet their monthly goal, theyโ€™ll receive a badge as well as a certificate for a Pizza Hut Personal Pan pizza.

This is a great way to motivate young readers. After all, who doesnโ€™t love pizza?!

The BOOK IT reading program and challenge also happens during the school year, but that is something for teachers to sign up for.
