Ingredients Needed To Make Grandma’s Molasses Cookies:

  • A cup, plus 3 Tablespoons Butter, softened
  • 1 -1/4 cups sugar, divided
  • An Egg
  • 1/4 cup Molasses
  • 2 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 3/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves

How To Make Grandma’s Molasses Cookies:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and 1 cup of sugar.
  3. Blend in the molasses and egg.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and cloves and add to creamed mixture.
  5. Mix until well blended.
  6. Shape dough into a ball about 1 1/4 inch. 
  7. Roll balls in remaining sugar and place on silicone lined baking sheet, or use parchment paper.

Ingredients Needed To Make Chocolate Chocolate Chip Holiday Cookies:

  • 1 cup Butter, softened
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2/3 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
  • A cup of M&M’s

How To Make Chocolate Chocolate Chip Holiday Cookies:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Soften butter in pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla until fluffy.

  6. Using your hands, make round balls with the dough and place on cookie sheet.

  • 12 Pre-made Sugar Cookies
  • 3 Tablespoons Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Chips, melted

  1. Use a food processor to grind the sugar cookies until fine crumbs form. I have this food processor and it works like a charm every time. If you don’t have a food processor, you can place the cookies in a ziplock bag and use a rolling pin to crush the cookies.
  2. Add cream cheese and pulse again until the “dough” comes together. If the dough is still dry, try adding a teaspoon or two of milk.
  3. Use a cookie scoop to scoop the “dough” into 1-inch balls. Roll and put on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Freeze the cookie truffles for 15 minutes.
  4. Melt white chocolate, or candy melts. Dip truffles in the melted chocolate, place on parchment paper and add sprinkles if desired.
