  • Box of Jello – choose the flavors your kids love!
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 or 2 cups of mashed fruits – bananas, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, and more…
  • 1 cup water (or check Jello instructions)
  • Popsicle molds

DIRECTIONS TO MAKE drip-free jello popsicle RECIPE

Step 1

First, we are going to make Jello! There are several different sizes of Jello boxes, so grab the amounts for water from the box.

  1. Boil a cup of water (or whatever amount suggested by the Jello instructions)
  2. Pour the gelatin mix into a medium size bowl.
  3. Add the boiling water to the bowl and stir with a spoon for 2 minutes until all the gelatin is dissolved.
  4. Instead of adding cold water at this point, go on to the next step where you can add fruit juice and fruit instead…

Step 2

Once the gelatin has dissolved, add the desired mashed fruit and stir to combine.

Step 3

Add 1 cup of orange juice (or your favorite fruit juice) instead of cold water to the mixture and stir.

    1. Sorry Lee, We followed the directions on the back of the jello box for the most part, 1 Cup hot water, 1 Cup cold water (or orange juice) and then we added fruit. When we made the berry one we put 5-10 berries in each popsicle container, with the bannanas we mashed two of them and just mixed it in. We’ve also added leftover fruitsalad. I didn’t really keep track of the amounts of fruit. Sorry. The popsicles tasted great each way we made them.

  7. I love this idea! I don’t let my toddler eat popsicles because he makes such a mess…these are the perfect solution!
