This will be a new “favorite food” for my preschoolers! My son was so proud that “he made lunch”. These would be perfect with frozen pancakes, but as we had already consumed our stash Z mixed up some batter for us (see our
make pancake letters post). We used bags to “squeeze” out our mini-pancakes. They were the perfect size for little hands to grab!

How to make them? Grab two pancakes, lather on the peanut butter, add slices of bananas and you have a hit with kids and mommy alike! Thanks to
Aunt Jemima for inspiring this post. They have a variation of this recipe which uses walnuts (which we didn’t have on-hand), my son would have preferred peanut butter anyways. Hope you get to enjoy a fun breakfast variation! These would be great to make for road-trips or other out-and-about mornings!

We’ve done this with waffles too! Frozen waffles are awfully convenient, though I refuse to buy boxed pancakes!

Those look really good! We love to make whole wheat pancakes, so I will have to remember this snack! So Rachel, did you see the toddler thread over at MckMama’s? I included a link to your blog there. If you need the URL, just let me know.
