The Art of Zentangle
The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. You create tangles with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs.
In this project, we are exploring the art of zentangle on shamrock themed coloring pages. Kids are free to relax and enjoy their unique pattern creations through the use of lines, dots, and colors.

Directions to Make This Shamrock Zentangle
Step 1

Begin by using a pencil to lightly sketch zentangle designs onto printed shamrock page. Encourage kids to try various patterns and details to complete their drawings. Zentangles can be placed both inside and outside the shamrock image.
Step 2

Next, use a permanent marker to trace zentangle sketch. Erase unwanted pencil lines.
Step 3

Lastly, add color to complete the project.
