We are interviewing Vicky today to find out about the mom behind Mess For Less. Why did you begin blogging? I am a former preschool teacher who is a now a stay at home mom. I started doing activities with my kids and posting them on Facebook. My friends were always really interested and asked a lot of questions about what I was doing. I decided Facebook might not be the best place to share my projects so I started Mess For Less. What do you hope to inspire in the parents who read your blog? That they don’t need a lot of money to create lasting memories with their kids. What is it like to live in your home? I have 4 year old twin girls and a 3 year old girl. We are busy for sure! There is a lot of drama in our house between the three of them. I didn’t think that would start until they were teens!

What are your kids favorite activities? Versatile activities like play dough or chalk are favorites. Both are fun for kids and adults. Different props can easily be added and both will keep the girls busy for hours. What is important to YOU as a blogger? I love being able to help moms find something to do where they can connect with their kids and keep them busy without spending a lot of money. What is your advice to readers? My advice is to enjoy the phase you’re in. Don’t look ahead so much you miss out on the present.
