  1. Picasso’s full name is Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Maria de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santisima Trinidad Martyr Patricio Clito Ruiz y Picasso.
  2. Picasso’s first words were “piz piz,” short of lápiz the Spanish word of ‘pencil.’
  3. At the age of 8, Picasso completed his first painting titled “Le Picador.”
  4. Picasso managed to pass the entrance exam for the Royal Academy of San Fernando in Madrid at a young age. He was only 16 years old.
  5. Picasso’s father, José Ruiz Blasco, was also an artist and art professor who influenced Picasso’s work.
