- Carlos Ray Norris is a martial artist and actor born on March 10, 1940, in Oklahoma, United States.
- Although both his parents were Irish and Cherokee, he was named after a close family friend named Carlos.
- He has a large acting career and is a star of movies and tv shows such as Walker Texas Ranger, The Delta Force, and The Hitman.
- While on the waiting list for the police force, in 1962, Norris opened his first martial arts studio.
- He served in the US air force for four years. He was posted to Osan Air Base in South Korea, where he got his nickname Chuck.

- In 1972, Norris appeared alongside Bruce Lee as his nemesis in Way of the Dragon, known as Return of the Dragon in the US.
- Norris created his own form of martial art called Chun Kuk Do, which means Universal Way.
- By 1990, Norris’ films had all together grossed over $500 million worldwide.
- Norris has only ever lost ten fights in his life.
- His contributions to the martial arts world have led him to become a legend and a founding member of the sport.
