Owl Puppet Craft for Kids
I made this fun craft with the kids at school recently and they loved choosing their own colors and practicing their scissor skills and painting. Each owl turned out a completely different color. Some had paper eyes, some didn’t, and the kids chose beautiful colors to use.

Instructions for making a paper bag owl craft

Step 1
Once you’ve decided on the colors for your paper bag owl craft it’s time to paint the paper bag. This gives it a chance to dry while you cut out the rest of the pieces.

Step 2
Fold your construction paper in half. For younger kids, draw the wing shapes on the paper and they can practice scissor skills by having them cut around the shape. Older kids can either draw their own wings or simply cut out the wing shapes on their own.

Step 3
Cut out circles from another color of construction paper. I traced around a lid to make the circle. Glue those into place for the eyes, and then glue buttons over the top. Cut out a beak from orange construction paper, glue that on, and then use the marker to add feathers to the center of the owl.
