Costco Just Raised Its Minimum Wage To $17 An Hour and that is amazing!!
It’s no secret that Costco has always been one of the best retailers when it comes to fair and livable wages for employees. This new starting wage makes the retailer even harder to compete with.
According to reports, last week Costco told employees that it would increase its minimum wage from $16 an hour to $17 starting on Monday.
Costco currently has around 180,000 US employees, and 90% of them work hourly.
Costco’s new starting wage is $2 more per hour than Amazon and Target and $5 an hour above Walmart’s. Isn’t that amazing?!
So, if you are looking for a way to earn some additional holiday cash, need a new career or even a second job, apply at your local Costco.
