Ingredient Substitutions You Can Make with Lip Scrub Recipe
- Instead of brown sugar: We love using brown sugar in sugar scrub because it works so well, but if you don’t have any on hand you can substitute white sugar for the brown sugar.
- Instead of grapeseed oil: You can also try using olive oil or jojoba oil if you don’t have grapeseed oil.
- Instead of coconut oil: You can substitute shea butter instead of coconut oil.
- Add Vitamin E oil: For really cracked lips, you can add a capsule of vitamin e oil.
- Instead of the sugar: An alternative to sugar is coffee. If you like the smell of coffee, you can add coffee grounds as they are a natural exfoliant too – but it won’t taste as sweet!
