Instead, make this super easy ice cream treat! And the best part? You don’t need an ice cream machine! Once you try this no-chrun method, you’ll be making it regularly!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Healthy No-Churn Ice Cream
3-4 very ripe bananas
2-3 Tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter
1-2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
How to Make No-Churn Banana Ice Cream
1. Slice the bananas and freeze until firm. Note: freeze in a single layer and once hard you can place them in a freezer bag until you’re ready for them.
2. In a powerful blender or food processor blitz the frozen bananas. Note: I find the food processor works best and you might need to wait a few minutes for the bananas to soften slightly.
3. Once smooth add cocoa powder and peanut butter to taste. Start with a scoop of each and build from there until it tastes just how you or your kid likes. The tasting is my son’s favorite part!
4. Enjoy right away for a soft serve treat! Or place the mixture in a plastic container and place in the freezer until hard enough to scoop.
