Did you know there are a number of snow recipes? There are recipes that use snow to usually make super sweet treats! Kids of all ages will love making yummy snow treats. We gathered a fun list of different treats you can make this winter. You can make these snow recipes at home or in the classroom.

Growing up, we’d make snow ice cream a lot. And I think vanilla snow ice cream is a favorite of many. But did you know there are other snow recipes too?
Important! Just make sure that the snow you get is fresh, white, clean and aways from traffic, animals, and other pollutants! Don’t want anyone getting sick.

1. Snow Ice Cream Recipe

Snow ice cream is a classic winter recipe that is delicious, sweet, and fun to make. All you need is powdered sugar, milk, snow, vanilla, and toppings. We chose sprinkles!
2. Strawberry Snow Cone Recipe

Strawberry snow cones are delicious! You just need water, sugar, strawberries and of course snow. You could probably use any of your favorite fruits.
3. Snow Halo Halo Recipe

If you’ve never heard of Halo Halo, it’s a southeast Asian dessert that means “mix mix.” So, you can use snow, evaporated milk, ice cream, fresh fruits, cereal, really anything you want to it!
4. Snow Affogato Recipe

This typically uses ice cream, but you can make snow cream and then use it to make a snow affogato. This dessert is probably best for the adults though since kids don’t really need strong coffee.
5. Maple Syrup Candy Recipe

Did you know you can use snow to make maple syrup candy? It’s easy! Use the snow to make hard candy that you can enjoy during the winter!
6. Honey Snow Sucker Recipe
Just like the maple syrup candy, you make these honey snow suckers the same way. Using the snow to cool the honey and spices quickly to create hard candy. It is delicious!
7. Snow Slushie Recipe

I love slushies! And you can use snow to make snow to make a delicious sweet and juicy slushie! You just need a few basic ingredients like fruit syrup or juice as well as sugar and water and of course, snow!
