American Express is also placing 150,000 Membership Rewards points in my newly opened rewards account to plan this trip. Thanks American Express!

I suggest Chicago. There are so many historical places to visit, not to mention Navy Pier. You could spend 2 days there! And while your here…visit Shedd Aquarium. Best Aquarium in the country IMO! From Texas i would say travel by plane. 🙂
I would go to Arizona to see my BFF who I have not seen in a couple of years. From there we would rent a car and drive to Vegas for a girls weekend!! We would enjoy good food, great drinks, awesome shows and hopefully win some money =)
Fly to San Diego, CA… Once you’re here you can enjoy the miles of beaches. Start at Ocean Beach where you can shop the marvelous antique stores and shell shops, and have lunch at the famous burger shop (and coolest restaurant on the beach) Hodad’s. Don’t forget the San Diego Zoo and all of the great museums in Balboa Park. Have fun whatever you do! 🙂

I think you should go to Italy. You can eat and drink your way through a beauitiful country.
I think you should go to Banff, Alberta Canada. It’s sooo beautiful there, and you can marvel and the wonder of the mountains and maybe even see the Northern Lights. I would fly to Calgary Alberta and then drive from there. And once you’re there, the things to to outside abound!
Take a plane to Columbus, OH. Two of my favorite dessert places are there: Pistacia Vera in German Village and Jenny’s Splendid Ice Cream (multiple locations around Columbus). Also two of my favorite places for lunch: Schmidt’s Sausage House in German Villiage and Villiage Wines and Bistro in Canal Winchester. After you’ve eaten your fill, you should visit the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and catch a Clipper’s game downtown at the Arena District.
Where should I go? “ On a trip to Disney (I have always wanted to go and take our kids but money is tight)
Should I travel by train, plan or automobile? “ By Plane (Can you believe I will be 34 in November and I have never flown?)
What should I do when I get there? I would explore the parks and also visit many of the local places. You also would want to go to the beach!
Have fun and hope you enjoy whatever you decide to do!
I would stay local and visit the Dallas Aquarium and the dallas zoo for a look at the animals., stop off at White Rock Lark park for a nice bike ride and find some good food.
Where should I go?
Since this is just a weekend getaway…how about a historical weekend? Take a romantic drive down to Austin, TX and stay here: http://www.mansionatjudgeshill.com/
Should I travel by train, plan or automobile?
By your choice of automobile.
What should I do when I get there?
Take a tour of the State Capitol and History Museum, visit some of the nearby parks such as http://mayfieldpark.org/ and of course there is shopping and theaters if you like those things and the opera is less formal here than in Dallas. 🙂
Upstate NY
By plane – for sure!
Hold my brand new grand daughter, until they pry her out of my arms!
