Make DIY Christmas Ornaments
If you’re looking for a festive craft that kids of all ages can do, will bring holiday cheer to your house, and is great fun, this is it! Winter break is the perfect time to make good use of all those old supplies and scraps you have hanging around. Who knew it’d be so easy to get into the holiday spirit?!
These are one of our favorite holiday craft ideas because it’s a great way for younger kids to work on their fine motor skills while older kids use their creativity to make a seasonal craft with their little hands. And it’s the perfect excuse for adults to make their own festive decorations before the big day.
Let’s make some easy Christmas crafts!
Supplies Needed To Make a Xmas Craft
- Silver and gold wrapping paper – a six inch square and a three inch square
- ribbon
- a bead – 20 mm (you can use any size and cut larger or smaller paper squares)
- glue
- scissors
Steps To Make a Xmas Craft
Step 1
Grab your wrapping paper. You can use the squares on the backside of wrapping paper to measure the squares, or you can use a ruler.
Step 2
Grab the wrapping paper and accordion fold them in half-inch whips.
Step 3
Fold them in half. Add glue on one half of the inner side, but make sure you leave some space where the fold is because that’s where the ribbon will go through.
Step 4
Put the ribbon through. Put both ends of the ribbon through the bead holes – this will be the angel’s head. Make sure to tie a knot, so it doesn’t slide!
Step 5
Yay! You have an easy craft for Christmas you can put on your tree! Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
