DIY Popsicle Stick Fairy Garden House Deck Craft
This fairy popsicle stick craft is easy for older kids to make on their own. Younger kids will need help with the stain, glue, and cutting popsicle sticks.

Supplies Needed for Fairy House Deck Craft
- Popsicle sticks
- Stain – we used classic grey
- Wood glue – waterproof if putting your project outdoors in weather
- Outdoor paint sealer
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Moss
Instructions to Make Fairy Garden Stand
Step 1
Line seven popsicle sticks up beside each other.
Step 2
Place two popsicle sticks in the opposite direction over the top and cut off the ends.
Step 3
Glue these two sticks down on top of the others.
Step 4
Glue four popsicle sticks on right angles like the image below.
Step 5
Grab another four popsicle sticks and glue them into a cross to keep the previously step from moving and breaking.
Step 6
Cut the ends off popsicle sticks so they are about 1 inch long.
Step 7
Glue one popsicle stick across them to make a fence that will be glued to the top of the observation deck.
Step 8
Make a ladder for your fairies and their friends to climb up so that they can look out over the garden.
Step 9
Brush stain over your observation deck. We used a ‘classic grey’ stain so that it would match the wood box we use for our fairy garden. Set it aside to dry.
Step 10
Apply an outdoor sealer over the top, and again, let it dry before moving on.
Step 11
Glue moss over your observation deck to give it a more natural look.
