By now you’ve probably heard that the single BEST way to protect yourself from the Coronavirus is by washing your hands. However, most people don’t know how to wash their hands properly (which may explain why hand soap is selling out like hotcakes). With that being said, I’ve come up with a BRILLIANT way to teach your kids how to get the job done right… Teaching Your Kids To Sing the Chorus of “Baby Shark” While Washing Their Hands Gets Them Super Clean. It totally works! The original Baby Shark song is 2:16 but since we have all sorts of Baby Shark toys lying around our house, I decided to play one while my kids wash their hands and guess what? It’s the perfect amount of time.  If you just play the chorus of the Baby Shark song it begins at 0:28 and ends at 1:08 that is 40 seconds long. Now, the CDC recommends “scrubbing your hands for 20 seconds” and even recommends singing the Happy Birthday song but, um, isn’t the Baby Shark song so much more fun and catchy? Lol! So, all you need to do is start the Baby Shark song from 0:28 (if you are using their YouTube music video) or just play one of the Baby Shark toys you have lying around like us and wash the entire chorus of the song. Sure, it’s double the amount of the recommended time but extra hand washing never hurts anyone and it gets those kiddos hands EXTRA CLEAN. The video is below for you. Happy hand washing!
